Our 2025 Year in Review

As the year comes to a close, we love taking a moment to reflect on what made it meaningful. 2025 was a year of growth, creativity, and connection for Henderer Design + Build + Remodel. From thoughtfully designed remodels to celebrating milestones with our team and community, we are grateful for the trust our clients and partners placed in us.

Here’s a look back at some of the highlights from the year.

Designing Homes That Truly Fit Our Clients

At the heart of everything we do is the belief that the best projects are built on strong relationships with our clients and the community we serve. This year, we had the privilege of working on a wide range of projects that challenged us creatively and allowed us to deliver spaces that are both beautiful and functional.

From kitchens designed for gathering, to bathrooms focused on comfort and longevity, to whole-home remodels that reimagined layouts entirely, each project told a unique story. We are especially proud of the custom details, thoughtful storage solutions, and craftsmanship that defined so many of this year’s homes.

Growing Our Team and Our Craft

2025 also brought growth behind the scenes. We welcomed new faces, celebrated work anniversaries, and continued investing in training and collaboration across departments. As a design-build firm, our strength lies in the close collaboration among our designers, project developers, and craftspeople.

One of our biggest internal milestones was celebrating Ted’s 30th anniversary, honoring three decades of dedication and craftsmanship that continue to shape Henderer Design + Build + Remodel today. We also celebrated Jacob’s promotion to Production Manager, recognizing his leadership, experience, and steady presence on our projects.

Expanding Henderer Custom Cabinetry

This year marked an exciting chapter for Henderer Custom Cabinetry. Expanding our in-house cabinetry capabilities allowed us to offer even more personalized solutions for our clients. From kitchens and bathrooms to built-ins and storage throughout the home, custom cabinetry played a major role in many of our 2025 projects.

We also reached a fun milestone by attending our first home show for Henderer Custom Cabinetry, giving us the opportunity to connect with homeowners, share inspiration, and showcase the level of detail that goes into every piece we build.

Celebrating Milestones Big and Small

Beyond the projects themselves, 2025 was filled with moments that reminded us why we love what we do and who we do it with.

We spent a memorable day at Hoodoo for a team bonding trip, strengthening connections and enjoying time together outside the jobsite. Our team also grew in meaningful ways as we gathered for a baby shower celebrating another HDBR little, a reflection of how we support one another and show up for each other both at work and beyond.

We also celebrated personal and professional milestones throughout the year. Noelle graduated from Leadership Corvallis. Dave and Shelley celebrated 34 years of marriage. We were proud to see designer Rylee successfully pass the Universal Design Certified Professional exam and earn the UDCP designation, joining an elite group of NARI Certified Professionals. We also celebrated Trael, whose summer carpentry internship led to a full-time carpentry position through her dedication, growth, and hard work.

Partnerships and Community Connections

Being part of the Mid-Willamette Valley community, including Corvallis and the surrounding communities, is deeply important to us. In 2025, we continued to show up through local events, partnerships, and long-standing relationships with organizations and vendors we trust.

This year, we partnered with Good Vibes Interior Decorating and Consulting, expanding our collaborative network and strengthening the resources we can offer our clients throughout the design process.

We also stayed actively involved across the Mid-Willamette Valley by volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club’s first career fair and participating in Philomath’s Trunk or Treat. Along the way, we refreshed our presence out in the community with new vehicle wraps, helping keep our brand visible while we are out and about on jobsites throughout the region.

Recognition We’re Proud Of

We are honored when our work is recognized, because it reflects the dedication of our team and the trust our clients place in us.

In 2025, we received the regional 2025 Chrysalis Awards for Best Interior Remodel in the $300k to $500k category, and we were also named Best Builder, Best Interior Design, and Best Remodeling Contractor in Best of the Valley 2025.

We don’t take that recognition lightly, and we are grateful to everyone who voted, supported, and helped make those wins possible.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we head into the new year, we are excited about what’s next. We’re already working on new projects, refining our processes, and finding ways to continue improving the client experience from first conversation to final walkthrough.

Thank you to our clients, trade partners, and community for an incredible year. We are honored to be part of your homes and your stories, and we can’t wait to see what 2026 brings.

If you’re considering a remodel in 2026, we’d love to connect and learn more about your goals.

From all of us at Henderer Design + Build + Remodel, happy holidays and happy new year.
