The Inspiration

The homeowner wanted to transform the non-specific look of the kitchen into a very modern, taste-specific design.

The inspiration came from the green tiles used in the backsplash, and combined with the rift sawn white oak, horizontal straight grain of the cabinets adds a modern, clean design element.

Notice no outlets in black splash, outlets are mounted underneath!
Design Build Solution

Functionality was a key design element. We redesigned the island to be a functional prep area with sink, and custom cabinetry for cookbooks and display.

A big part was modernizing the design for the way the family lives (charging station, ipad for cooking, Legrand® under cabinet system.)
