Challenge and Inspiration

The goal was to not lose the character they loved in the existing space, and bring that warmth and eclectic charm into the new structural and design elements.

The remodel removed the loft bedroom, in order to open up and vault the living space, and created a new master suite.

The inspiration came from the existing rough sawn timbers. The homeowners loved their warm and rustic feeling, so we extended that look into the open living area.
Design Build Solution

The river rock faced fireplace ties in with exterior. We were able to by incorporate wood from the old loft into the mantel and hearth for added charm!

Structural design elements created the essence of this rustic farm-house feeling, and are an important backdrop for the interior design.
