  • The Details

    The goal with this primary bathroom was to make better use of the existing footprint and create a layout that felt more open and intentional. We reworked the bathroom and closet spaces to improve the flow and make room for his-and-hers vanities, a private toilet room, a larger shower, and plenty of storage.

    The existing windows, skylight, and window shades were all kept in place and incorporated into the new design. The soaking tub was positioned beneath the windows to take advantage of the natural light, while warm wood cabinetry and soft, neutral finishes give the space a comfortable, relaxed feel.

    In the shower, we focused on creating a space that felt both spacious and practical. A built-in bench and two recessed niches provide plenty of function, while the accent tile adds a subtle detail that helps tie the shower into the rest of the bathroom.
