Natural Harmony

Kitchen Remodel | Corvallis, OR

  • The Design Challenge

This project began with a kitchen and laundry room that felt dated, dark, and disconnected. The existing cabinetry, flooring, and layout limited both function and visual appeal. Green cabinets, bulky soffits, and mismatched finishes contributed to a closed-in feel, while the layout offered little flow between spaces. The design challenge was to reimagine both rooms with improved functionality, brighter finishes, and a cohesive style that would stand the test of time.

  • The Details

A balanced blend of natural white oak and clean white Shaker-style cabinetry sets the tone for the Natural Harmony design. Full-height pantry cabinets offer ample storage while maintaining a bright, streamlined look. The warm wood base cabinets ground the space, while a soft, neutral tile backsplash adds just enough texture to complement the clean lines without distraction.

  • The Details

This design features clean-lined, Shaker-style cabinetry in a face frame construction for added depth and durability. Crafted from rift-sawn white oak, the cabinetry showcases a subtle, linear grain that brings warmth and refinement to the space. Sleek brushed nickel hardware adds a modern edge, while integrated toe kicks and venting contribute to the cabinetry’s seamless, built-in look.
